What is the Go Wisely AI Accelerator Diagnostic?

The AI Accelerator Diagnostic is Go Wisely's structured assessment of where a business stands on AI across six pillars, with a written plan of next steps.

Why assess before choosing tools

Many businesses start with AI by buying licences and hoping usage follows. When it does not, the cause is rarely the tool. It is usually unclear direction, uneven skills, missing guidance on risk, or no way of measuring value. A structured assessment shows which of these is holding you back, so you fix the right thing first. If you are still at the very beginning, see where to start with AI.

The six pillars

Go Wisely assesses every business across the same six pillars, each rated on five maturity levels: Unaware, Curious, Active, Capable and Leading.

  • Vision: Where AI is taking the business, and where it should not.

  • Opportunities: Where AI could take friction out of the work.

  • People and Culture: Who can use AI well, who cannot, and whether the business supports adoption.

  • Tools and Data: What is in use, what it works with, and what is worth adding.

  • Governance: Where the risks are and what people need to know before using AI on real work.

  • Value: How you will know whether any of it is working.

Two tiers

Full AI Accelerator Diagnostic

The Full Diagnostic is the evidence-based option. It runs over around two weeks, at your pace, and includes onboarding, an all-hands survey benchmarked against the six pillars, 1:1 interviews with leadership and key personnel, a leadership working session, and a consolidated report with recommendations and a draft training curriculum. Everyone contributes through the survey, key people are interviewed, and the leadership team attends the working session. It is priced from £3,500.

Half Day Leadership Alignment

The Half Day Leadership Alignment is half a day with the leadership team working through the six pillars, followed by a consolidated report with an initial maturity assessment and recommendations, plus full notes. It draws only on the leadership team's own view, with no all-hands survey, no wider interviews and no independent validation. It suits businesses whose main need is agreement at the top. It is priced from £1,200.

What the Full Diagnostic produces

The written report is delivered within one week of the leadership working session and contains seven named outputs.

  • AI Vision: An agreed leadership position on where AI is taking the business.

  • Maturity assessment: Your rating on each of the six pillars.

  • Three priority use cases: Where to focus first.

  • Phased 12-month roadmap: What happens, when, and who owns it.

  • Governance position: A clear stance on AI risk and acceptable use.

  • Capability and training plan: Who needs what training, and in what order.

  • One immediate action: The single thing to do straight away.

How businesses use it afterwards

The report gives leadership a shared reference point for decisions on AI spending and priorities. What follows depends on what the Diagnostic finds. Clients typically move into team training, implementation oversight through trusted technical partners, or ongoing fractional advisory.
