The founder and the business

Go Wisely AI Ltd was founded by Nathan Williams and launched on 1 April 2026. It is based in Birch, near Colchester, Essex, and works with businesses across the UK.

Go Wisely is an independent AI adoption consultancy for UK businesses, covering strategy, capability and confidence. Its focus is the human and organisational side of AI: helping leaders decide where AI fits and helping teams use it well. It also offers 1:1 AI coaching for professionals and leaders.

Nathan has nearly 30 years of consulting experience. He has worked with organisations including Microsoft, Infosys, American Express, Mercedes-Benz, Intel, Expedia, Medtronic, Haleon, EE, Vodafone and Swisscom.

What large organisations teach smaller ones

Working with large organisations shows that AI adoption rarely succeeds or fails because of the technology. The hard parts are agreeing what AI is for, bringing people with you, setting sensible rules on risk, and measuring whether it works. Smaller businesses face exactly the same questions, with fewer people and less room for wasted spend.

The skill is applying those lessons in proportion. A business of 40 people does not need a large governance framework or a long transformation programme. It needs a clear direction, a short set of priorities and guidance its team will follow.

  • Sequencing: Knowing which changes need to come first, so early effort makes later steps easier.

  • Proportion: Sizing policy, training and process changes to the business, not to a template designed for a much larger organisation.

  • Focus on people: Treating confidence and habits as the main obstacle, since that is where most adoption efforts stall.

Why a teaching qualification matters

Nathan holds a PGCE from the Institute of Education, University of London.

This matters because training that changes how people work is a teaching problem as much as a technical one. A demonstration shows what a tool can do. Teaching is about whether people can do it themselves the following week, on their own work, without help. That means understanding where each learner starts, designing practice around real tasks, checking understanding as you go and building confidence in people who feel behind.

For anxious or sceptical teams, this approach often makes the difference between a session people enjoyed and a change that actually sticks.

Working with Nathan directly

Clients work with Nathan directly, not with a junior delivery team. The person who assesses your business is the person who runs your leadership session, designs your training and answers your follow-up questions. You do not need to brief a new person at each stage.

Go Wisely is also independent of any software vendor, which shapes how it makes recommendations. The page on vendor-independent AI advice explains what that means in practice.
